SixthMan Selected as 2008-2009 Suns Dance Team Judge
After sending in her most spirited Suns photo, Nancy Campbell was selected to be on the judge's panel for the 2008-09 Suns Dance Team auditions. Campbell, who has been a season ticket holder since 1991, said, "I couldn't believe how much goes into the choosing of the dancers, it is quite a process." She also added, "I look at these dancers in a whole new light now. To see how hard they work and how hard they try is quite inspiring to see." After more than 240 hopefuls tried out during the first round, only 16 are selected for the team.
SixthMan Wins Las Vegas Flyaway Trip to Catch NBA Summer League Action
Suns SixthMan, Geraldine Harney won a trip for two to Vegas by being selected in the drawing exclusive to season ticket holders, who had their season ticket accounts paid in full by Thursday, July 10. Harney and her guest, Robert enjoyed accommodations at New York New York Hotel & Casino and had the opportunity to sit courtside at Saturday's game and cheer on the Suns. After returning from the trip, Harney said, "I can't describe what an outstanding time I had. The team played really well, the accommodations were wonderful and to top it off it was really nice seeing fellow Suns season ticket holders in attendance."
